If you are looking for a great value in tournaments then head over to the Venetian. Their Daily Deep Stack events are all no-limit and start at noon every day. Initial starting chips in the $330 buy-in tournament are $4,500, but for another $10 you can increase your stack to $6,000. The $540 buy-in event starts with $10,000 in chips. They are also running $130 twowinner satellites Friday through Saturday starting at 8 p.m.
For those who bust out of the noon event, don’t fret; you will get another opportunity in the second chance events that start at 8 p.m. The events on Sunday through Thursday have a price tag of $125 with $1,500 in starting chips. For five dollars more you get $1,000 in chips and there is an optional rebuy that will increase your stack by $2,000. That’s a grand total of $4,500 chips.
The Friday event is a bounty tournament with a $195 ticket price. The buy-in will get you $3,000 in chips but for five dollars more you can begin with $4,000. For every buy-in, $10 goes into the bounty pool and players receive a $10 bounty for each player they eliminate.

The Hold’em Pots at Sam’s Town are Hot.
If you didn’t have a good reason to play at Sam’s Town before, you do now. They are adding $25-$100 to the next pot at all hold’em tables following a four-of-a-kind or higher. After a four-of-a-kind they will add $25 to the next pot, $50 will be added after a straight flush and $100 will be added after a royal flush.
Sam’s Town holds a HORSE tournament every Sunday at 2 p.m. with a $120 buy-in. More information can be found in their ad in this issue of Poker Player Newspaper.
The Suncoast has Something for Everyone.
They spread $2-$4, $4-$8, and $10-$20 limit hold’em games with a half-kill; $1-$2 and $2-$5 blind no-limit hold’em; $1-$5 seven card stud and $4-$8 Omaha High and Omaha/8. The rake on live games is still only three dollars.
The tournament action runs daily, with a no-limit event at 10 a.m. that features a $40 buy-in. At 7 p.m. Sunday-Thursday they run a no-limit event with a $60 buy-in. On Friday and Saturday the game is no-limit, the buy-in is $50 with one $30 rebuy, and starts at 6 p.m. Players receive a five-dollar bounty for every player they knock out.
